Workshops

African Drums and Arts Crafts also does on site workshops where we bring the drums and culture to you. For example over the years we have done numerous events with schools, businesses, and community associations. Drumming, dancing, and singing together is a great way to keep groups connected and harmonious. We teach rhythms and dances that have an immediate payoff in terms of fun and a long term pay off in the form of cross cultural appreciation. We consider what we do in our workshops a solid contribution to the Canadian cultural mosaic. Here is some of what people who have invited us to animate their groups say:

"Hi Saikou,

I just want to say
thank you for the wonderful performance!
I was awe-struck.It was better than I could have imaginied!
Thank you again!"

Marcia Kwok

"Good Morning Saikou

I wanted to personally thank-you again
for the wonderful performance that
you put on for our gala last Saturday night,
you were the hit of the event
and everybody and I mean everybody
just raved about your performance.
Again thank-you!
All the best."
